Renault India has taken a novel initiative to increase car sales. This time they launched 'mobile showroom' to reach the buyers. The company's move is to bring various benefits of car sales and after sales services to the doorsteps of the customers. They have launched two new initiatives called 'Showroom on Wheels' and 'Workshop on Wheels'. This service will be provided from a total of 625 locations in 26 states and 3 Union Territories of the country.

Renault India Launches 'Mobile Showroom'

The 'Showroom on Wheels' will provide customers with a hassle-free car buying experience directly at their doorstep. This is the first such arrangement in the Indian automobile industry. From here buyers will be informed about all the models in the company's lineup. The employees of the company in charge of selling the car will be especially helpful in this regard. Customers will even get the facility of test-drive, on-spot booking and financing from the showroom on wheels.

All the vehicles in the portfolio will be displayed in this mobile showroom of the company. As a result, it will be much easier for the buyers to choose the car. New generation technology, safety features and new innovations will also be introduced. The preferred model can also be seen by test-driving. On the other hand, after-sales service will be provided through 'Workshop on Wheels'. Maintenance and servicing can be done at the doorstep.

Incidentally, currently Renault has more than 530 touch-points in the country. Sudhir Malhotra, vice-president, Renault India, said, “We want to remove barriers to showroom access for all customers in the country. That is why we are increasing communication with the people of this country." Currently Renault sells three cars in the country – Kiger, Triber and Kwid. The company is planning to launch three new models by 2025. Of which two are ICE and one is an electric model. The next three years will see six models in the company's portfolio.
