Motorola is gearing up for the launch of a new G-series smartphone, called the Moto G14. The company has already confirmed that they will be unveiling this handset as their new budget smartphone in India. The upcoming Motorola phone will be a 4G device and will debut as the successor to the Moto G13 that was launched in India earlier this year. Rival brand Xiaomi will launch its new Redmi 12 4G phone in India on August 1, the same day Motorola is rumored to take the wraps off the handset. Ahead of the launch, Motorola has confirmed the specifications of the upcoming Moto G14. Another new report has now revealed the price of the upcoming phone.
Motorola G14: India price and specifications leaked
Motorola will launch a new budget smartphone in India on August 1 Ahead of its India debut, the price of the phone has been leaked Tipster Yogesh Brar claims that the Moto G14 will be priced between Rs 10,000 and Rs 11,000 in the country. For the price, the device is claimed to offer 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Since it is a budget smartphone, the G14 will support microSD card.
Again, a Flipkart microsite confirmed the rest of the phone's hardware. The Moto G14 will feature a flat frame design with rounded corners. The rear panel is slightly curved towards the edges. Motorola has confirmed that the device will be available in Gray and Blue color options. The Moto G14 is said to feature a “super premium design” with high-quality materials. The phone is expected to come with a polycarbonate back and frame.
Also, the Moto G14 will have Dolby Atmos support for a dual speaker setup. A hole-punch cutout for the front camera can be seen at the top center of the phone's display. The rear of the phone houses a dual-camera setup inside a rectangular camera module. The company has also confirmed that the phone will get software support in the form of security patches for three years.
In terms of specifications, the Motorola G14 will sport a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with FullHD+ resolution. Inisc T6161 processor will be used in it. The phone will support 4 GB RAM, 128 GB UFS 2.2 storage and extended memory up to 1 TB through microSD card slot.
In terms of photography, the Motorola G14's dual rear camera setup will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. And an 8 megapixel front camera will be located in front of the phone. For power backup, the G14 will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. On the software front, the handset will run on Android 13-based MyUX custom skin.
